Time To Wake Up
I was in Central Maine looking for bears, and remembered some advice I'd heard....always look up, not on the ground. Sure enough, I found these three up in a tree about 80 ft up, no Mother around. These cubs 1 1/2 years old, still with Mom, but obviously not brand new Spring cubs. They were fast asleep ( I have those shots too) when I spotted them, but a few clicks of the shutter and they were all over where I was. My favorite part about the shot is the one cub that appears to be wearing an eye patch (the other cub's ear).
